Lamborghini Diablo Review

Lamborghini Diablo (4)

Lamborghini Diablo was introduced publically in Jan 1990, the bull is the predecessor of Lamborghini Countach and basically came with two different engines that were 5.7L V12 and 6L V12. The mid engine supercar came basically with two different body styling i.e. coupe and convertible VT Roadster version was introduced in 1995 with some changes. It was the first car by Lamborghini able to touch 200 mph and 0-60 less than 4.5 seconds. The facts were awesome; the new fantastic supercar was wide and low, it soon became popular. The legendary supercar was designed beautifully, front wheels were 18’’ and 8.4’’ wide and rear was 18’’ and 13’’ wide. The car basically was a rear wheel drive but a VT (Viscous traction) version of the car was also introduced which was all wheel drive. From 1990-98 the car was powered by a 5.7L V12 48 valve engine (4 valves for each cylinder) and produces more than 490 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque. After 1998 the Lamborghini Diablo 5.7L engine was replaced with a 6L V12 producing more than 550 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.

The transmission in the entire variations was 5-speed manual, hydraulically operated with dry single clutch plate. The suspension specified in the car was independent front and rear suspension, with front anti dive and rear anti roll bar.

Among it different variations of the car was introduced from 1990-2001. They are named here with some of their details.
