Notes: Slight juggling of equipment kept the GS models running in 2003. However, the model suffered steadily declining sales, set against a market segment that was rapidly growing. With arch-rival Infiniti entering the game with their M45, the redesign of the Benz E-Class, and a new-for-2004 5-Series from Munich, Lexus made this the last year for this iteration of GS sedans, redesigning both models for 2004.
